Waunakee FORMATA

The Waunakee Music Boosters are now FORMATA - The Waunakee Family Organization for Music and Theater Arts. We raise funds for music equipment, clinicians, music camp scholarships, solo ensemble accompanists, guest artists and much more.

The suggested donation is $25 per student and provides enough support that we can focus on only one fundraiser per year.

Our primary annual fundraiser is the Fruit Sale, offering delicious fresh fruit, cheese, nuts, and meats. These items are of very high quality and arrive just in time for holiday gift giving! This year’s sale will begin in October 2026. Email formatafruitsale@gmail.com if you have any questions!

After many months of fundraising, the new Yamaha grand piano was delivered to the WHS Performing Arts Center in March 2024!

aBOUT formata

The Waunakee Family Organization for Music and Theater Arts (FORMATA) exists to support the Waunakee Community School District music and theater programs. Any adult who lives in the school district and wants to help support the music programs can be a member. FORMATA sponsors the annual Fruit Sale (Oct-Nov., delivery in Dec.) plus the Ice Cream Social at the first Waunakee Community Band concert in early June. They provide funds for summer music camp scholarships, solo-ensemble accompanists, solo-ensemble medals, trips, concerts, guest artists & clinicians and equipment.
